Piaretta

Piaretta is a twelve year old, 17hh Westphalian mare imported from Germany. Pia has a wonderful, sweet personality with outstanding ground manners. Pia loves attention, treats, and practicing her Level 3 Parelli Natural Horse-man-ship. Pia is used for a few more advanced riders to lesson on as well as Trish. Pia has shown with Trish in the equitation, hunters, and jumpers at shows from local VHJA shows to AA shows in New England and New York. In 2005, she showed with a 13 year old off a pony and carried her to many ribbons in the 2'3". In 2006 she showed with both a junior and an adult student and did very well for both of them. Pia is now in foal to Chaleon, a very handsome Holsteiner Regular Working Hunter in CO. She is due in April 2008. For the 2007 show season, Pia showed again with Bridget Bishop, now in the 3'-3'3", and Val Campbell in the Adults. Bridget Bishop took Pia to the NEHC Finals in 2007 with a very respectable round, especially since Bridget has been jumping 3'3" only since July. Pia lives in Milton at Pine Ridge Stables. UPDATE: PIA HAD HER BABY! A perect bay filly named Arietta!

Arietta

Arietta is a filly born on April 25, 2008 at 1:50AM. Arietta is out of Piaretta (Westphalian) and is by Chaleon (Holsteiner). "Arie" is a bay filly that looks a lot like her mama! Arie will be registered as a Holsteiner. Check back as Arie grows!

Flaming Image

Trish & Abe, Summerfield Show, June 2007

Flaming Image, otherwise known in the barn as Abe, is a 15.3hh nine year old Appendix Quarter Horse. Purchased by SFF in August 2005, Abe has turned out to be a very nice addition to SFF's lesson program. Abe is a quiet, simple ride. He loves jumping, trail rides, and attention. Abe showed in 2006 in divisions up to the 3'. Abe is used for lessons for beginners through more advanced riders. Abe lives in Milton at Pine Ridge Stables. In the 2007 season, Abe was shown in the 2'3"-2'6" divisions. Abe is available for half or full lease.

I Can't Believe He's Not Butter!

Summerfield purchased Butter from the Renos in December of 2007, but he has been in our barn since July. Butter is 15 year old 13.1 1/2 hh Palomino gelding. Butter has been shown in the Children's Hunter Pony and the Pony Medals. Butter was shown in Children's Hunter Pony, Beginners and Leadline for 2007. Butter is available for half-lease and lives in Milton at Pine Ridge Stables.

Scarlet is a 16 year old 12.1hh sorrel Pony of the Americas/Welsh cross. Scarlet was purchased by SFF in April 2006 to use for lessons. Scarlet is very quiet and even-tempered and an excellent beginner pony. She is used in SFF's lesson program for lead liners, beginners and advanced beginners. She also is good for trail rides. Recently, Scarlet has also started doing some small jumps and seems to really like it! Scarlet is also available for half lease! She lives at Trish's house in Colchester.

Amazing Grace

Gracie is a ten year old, 15.3hh Appaloosa mare owned by Dana Reno. Gracie is a great mare who just started jumping again in late May of 2007 after several years off due to Dana starting a family. As a filly, she showed in California on the Appaloosa circuit. In 2007, Gracie showed in the Special Hunters at 2'6" starting in July with Trish, and also showed in the Hunter Pleasures and Hacks. Gracie is a bomb-proof and kid-safe horse that even Dana's daughter Julia rode as a 3 and 4 year old until she got her own pony this year. Julia started this year off in the leadline with Gracie. Dana's other daughter, Alexis, is 2 and loves to ride her! Gracie lives at her owner's house in Essex. UPDATE: Gracie just had her baby on April 14! Check out our pictures page for pictures!

Ollie

Ollie is a colt born April 14, 2008. Ollie is out of Amazing Grace and is by the TB stallion Rudy.

Unsolved Mystery

"Target" is a 14 year old, 16.1hh Paint gelding. Michaella Duffy ( "Kika") bought Target in June 2007 to use for Advanced Beginners in 2007 and for her mom, Catherine, to ride. Target is a great learning horse! He's very quiet and honest, and he's a pleasure to have in the barn! He also made his debut in the Special Hunters at the Fall GMHA 2007 show. Target is now available for half-lease. Target lives at Pine Ridge Stables in Milton.

"Theo" is a 6 year old palomino Halflinger cross large pony. Theo will show in 2008 with Michaella Duffy in the short stirrup.

Stormy is a red roan medium pony. Stormy is safe for beginners and also jumps. Stormy is available for full or half lease.

Levi is a 16.1hh bay warmblood gelding. Levi jumps up to 2' and also has nice flatwork. Levi is available for full or half lease.
